The lamp wasnt as tall as I thought it would be and because the shade is pointed downward, the light doesnt spread much. Its a good lamp to put next to a couch for reading, but it definitely doesnt light up a room. Other than that, its a beautiful gold color. The pics dont do it justice at all. It requires minimal assembly, but its very straightforward and I was able to put it together in 2 minutes without having to look at the instructions.

Love these lamps! Took my husband about 45 min to put together, some reviews say they tilt, (they don't), feel like they gave my living room a trendy vibe, put them on dimmers in order to give a softer light.

Nice lamp. I got the gold seeded shade design. The effect is that they are almost invisible until you turn them on. I needed four lamps and I didnt want lamp shades breaking up the spaces. The modern industrial design is simple, sturdy, and pleasing.
